【摘要】:EN50264-1specifiesthegeneralrequirementsapplicabletothecablesgiveninallotherpartsofEN50264.Itincludesthedetailedrequirementsfortheinsulatingandsheathingmaterialsandothercomponentscalledupintheseparateparts.InparticularEN50264-1specifiesthoserequirementsrelatingtofiresafety.Basedonprovenexperienceandreliabilityovermanyyearsthesecablesareratedforoccasionalthermalstressescausingageingequivalenttocontinuousoperationallifeataconductortemperatureof90°C.NOTEThisratingisbaseduponthepolymersdefinedin3.1and3.2.Beforethesepolymershadgainedwidespreadacceptanceinthecableindustry,ageingperformancehadbeenassessedvialong-termthermalendurancetestingandhadbeenextrapolatedto20000husingtechniquesequivalenttothoseinEN60216(series).Subsequentexperienceinservicehasdemonstratedthatthepredictedperformancelevelswerecorrect.Whereextrapolateddataisusedtopredictlifetimeinserviceitshouldbeconfirmedwiththecablemanufacturer,andshouldbeonthebasisofafailuremodeappropriatetothetypeofmaterialorcable.Themaximumconductortemperatureforshortcircuitconditionsis200°Cbasedonadurationof5s.ThisPart1shouldbereadinconjunctionwiththeotherpartsofEN50264.
