【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodforthemeasurementofindicesofpenetration,absorptionandrepellencyforprotectiveclothingmaterialsagainstliquidchemicals,mainlychemicalsoflowvolatility.Twolevelsofthepotentialperformanceofmaterialsareassessedbythismethodoftestingtomeetwithpossiblerequirementsforprotectionagainsta)depositiononthesurfaceofamaterial,atminimalpressure,ofspraydropletsuptocoalescenceoroccasionalsmalldrips;b)contaminationbyasinglelow-volumesplashorlow-pressurejet,allowingsufficienttimetodivesttheclothingortakeotheractionasnecessarytoeliminateanyhazardtothewearerfromchemicalretainedbytheprotectivegarment,or,incircumstanceswherepressureisappliedtoliquidcontaminantsonthesurfaceoftheclothingmaterial,asaresultofnaturalmovementsofthewearer(flexingofcontaminatedareasofclothingatarms,knees,shoulders)andcontactwithcontaminatedsurfaces(e.g.walkingthroughsprayedfoliage).
